The Himalaya Drug Company commemorates Pancasila Day with charity

Commemorating Pancasila Day and the spirit of Pancasila, The Himalaya Drug Company held a series of visits to several houses of worship in the Kelapa Gading area on June 3.

A manifestation of the the third principle of Pancasila, Unity of Indonesia, the company visited mosques, churches and monasteries to donate supplies for those in need. The event was sponsored directly by The Himalaya Drug Company, and was attended by The Himalaya Drug Company president director Jasminder Singh.

Singh noted that the visit was a real form of concern for others, and that love overlooks differences in religion and beliefs when it comes to helping. He expressed his hope that the event would continue to be carried out as part of The Himalaya Drug Company’s annual agenda, so that it may serve as an example for other companies to care for the less fortunate.
